The Tech Behind the Pleasure: Revolutionizing Intimacy with Rubjoy

Rubjoy is a robotic device, and understanding what's inside it helps explain why it moves differently from every other automatic stroker on the market.

The motors: dual digital servo motors

At the core of Rubjoy are two metal-geared digital servo motors. Unlike the DC motors used in most vibrators and many linear strokers, digital servo motors receive precise positional commands — they move to a specific angle and hold it, rather than simply spinning at a set speed. This precision is what allows Rubjoy to tilt, pivot, and gyrate with controlled accuracy rather than producing a fixed repetitive motion.

The two servos work in concert to drive Rubjoy's robotic arm. Because each motor can be commanded independently, the arm can combine stroke motion with lateral tilt and rotational gyration simultaneously — producing the multi-axis movement that distinguishes Rubjoy from single-axis linear devices.

Metal gearing is important here. Plastic-geared servos strip under sustained load. Rubjoy's metal-geared servos are the same type used in performance RC vehicles and robotics applications — built for repeated high-torque use over long periods.

The app: Bluetooth control and motion recording

Rubjoy connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth using the Rubjoy app, available on iOS and Android. The app has two primary modes:

Manual mode — real-time direct control of speed, stroke length, tilt angle, and motion style. Adjustments take effect immediately as you move the sliders.

Playback mode — you record a custom sequence of movements in the app, save it, and the machine executes that sequence on a continuous loop without any further input. The recording captures every parameter change you make during the session — speed ramps, tilts, pauses, gyrations — and replays them in exact sequence indefinitely.

The app account is separate from the rubjoy.store website account. The app account stores your saved motion sequences in the cloud so they persist across devices.

AC power

Rubjoy runs on continuous AC power via an included power supply that supports 100–240V input, making it compatible worldwide with a plug adapter. There is no battery — the machine can run for as long as needed without interruption.

The stand

The adjustable heavy-duty stand connects the robotic arm to the weighted oval base plate. The stand locks at any angle within a 360-degree range. The base plate is designed to be sat or lain on during use — your body weight anchors the entire assembly, cancelling the recoil force the motors produce and keeping the machine stable without any gripping or clamping.
